A note about my blog if you’ve just arrived here. I’m new to blogging so bear with me while I find my feet and feel my way around this thing, it could be a bumpy ride. It’s certainly a learning curve for me!

What’s it all about? I started the blog because I wanted to write more. I love writing, I just don’t do it enough. I’d promised myself for a long time I would start doing some writing or something creative in one form or another, so I decided that a new years resolution at the start of 2014 was the moment to take the plunge. It was also my first new years resolution ( I don’t make them, just conscious/subconscious decisions to do things a tiny wee bit better than the last year, the jury’s still out if I’ve actually managed that one!).

So here I am with a list of things to write about, a daunting blank screen, impatience to get going and quite a few friends that I’ve finally told ‘I’ve got a blog’ so I can’t wuss out…welcome to my work in progress.
